Grand Theft Auto V Will Be Absent From E3 2013 Says 2K Games

2K Games is a publishing partner with Rockstar games and according to 2K Games big upcoming titles like Grand Theft Auto V and The Bureau: XCOM Declassified will not be unveiled at E3 2013 this June.
Out of those two GTA V is clearly the most anticipated and millions of cross-platform Gamers are eagerly awaiting its release. 2K Games has reiterated its message about not attending E3 2013 confirming it will not be bringing any high profile titles – although this does not mean they won’t be released.
E3 attendees should not expect to play GTA V or The Bureau: XCOM Declassified but 2K Games will focus their marketing efforts “elsewhere” in order to promote these two games. In essence this means 2K Games are ditching E3 2013 as a marketing platform and will probably choose to “go at it alone” by creating their own media events for these particular games.
We don’t know whether this E3 withdrawal has any implications for the release date of these two games but as far as we can see it doesn’t, it is just an experimentation with different ways to market a game launch.
So if you are going/were going to go to E3 for GTA V, you will be disappointed.
