3D Graphics artist Alexey Zakharov has been hard at work on a 3D re-shoot of the Futurama intro and while this isn’t technology news, it’s seriously freaking cool! Not only are the graphics impressive, but it really sparks new life into the Futurama universe, which was hardly lacking in character to begin with.
Using 3dsmax, Nuke, Photoshop and After Effects, as well as Multiscatter plugin, Ghost Town script and Poly FX Sript, Alexey has created this amazing video as part of his portfolio.
Not only do the graphics look cool, but its enough to make me want to put money down on a crowd funding campaign to see the iconic series get at least one episode done in this hyper detailed format. Would you pay to see Futurama rendered like this?
