GTA 5 Returning to Xbox Game Pass and Coming to PC Game Pass for the First Time
According to sources, including well-known journalist Tom Henderson, GTA 5 is set to return to Xbox Game Pass this month. It will also be available for the first time on PC Game Pass and on the cloud.
This information comes from an email sent by Rockstar Games to people working with sites and communities related to Grand Theft Auto or other Rockstar Games productions. The email is part of a plan for a bigger public announcement soon.
It seems likely that GTA 5 will be part of the second wave of games coming to Game Pass in April. The first titles for the month were announced recently, and GTA 5 was not included in that list.
A Welcome Return for Xbox Game Pass Users
GTA 5 has been on Xbox Game Pass a couple of times before, but only for short periods. This seems to be a regular pattern for Rockstar Games. Their titles tend to stay on subscription services for only brief periods, possibly because the publisher, Take-Two, is not fully trusting of this distribution method.
In the past, GTA 5 stayed on Game Pass for about three months—a short time compared to most games on the service, which usually remain available for a year or more.
Exciting News for PC Game Pass Users
What makes this return special is that GTA 5 is also coming to PC Game Pass for the first time. This is a new move for Rockstar Games and brings the popular title to more players than ever before.
GTA 5’s return to Game Pass is creating a lot of excitement, especially for those who have been waiting for it to arrive on PC Game Pass. Stay tuned for more updates when the official announcement comes!
