GTA Online has been around for some time now, but Rockstar has already shown their commitment to continually improving their popular online crime simulator with the game receiving a number of updates both large and small over the course of its life. The newly announced expansion, named “Further Adventures in Finance and Felony” is according to Rockstar themselves, “one of GTA Online‘s biggest and deepest updates yet.” This add-on aim to expand on the features added in last year’s “Executives and Other Criminals” pack, which gave players the ability to form their own criminal empires, employing others to do their dirty work and act as bodyguards for a cut as well as a bevy of fancy new armoured vehicles for players to cruise around in.
According to Rockstar’s announcement, the new expansion will focus on the expansion of these newly formed criminal empires, including the opportunity to become the CEO of a full criminal organization, as well as everything that comes along with running your own illegal business. As with any GTA add-on, it wouldn’t be complete without an array of new vehicles and weapons for players to blaze around and up the city, with the centerpiece perhaps being the new Lamborghini-like Pegassi Reaper.
Little is known of this expansion beyond Rockstar’s initial announcement, but the release date is already set for June 7th and a launch trailer due next week, neither of which are too far off.
