According to new information from the PS Blog Grand Theft Auto V will feature random encounters in which players have to make decisions with multiple choices all which lead to different outcomes. This very much reminds me of what happened in Grand Theft Auto IV when you had to make a decision of which each had a different outcome, one led to Roman being killed and the other to Kate being killed. In GTA V these same style random decisions will allow you to choose the fate of three main characters: Michael, Franklin and Trevor.
Apparently these random encouters also include things like Robberies where you can choose to stop the robbery from happening and earn positive reputation or join in and assist and gain a proportion of the loot money. All these dynamic events that take place in Los Santos and the surrounding Blaine county will allow you have more say in how the story pans out and if anything with a wider variety of decisions to make we are going to see a more RPG-like style to GTA V.
