GTA V is great, but have you played Vice City with the Modern mod? Created by a modder named ‘Talha_Mustafa,’ this project has now reached version 1.2, and as such, it now offers a series of important improvements. These include new textures, new pavements, HD grass, and even an improved mansion. We should also mention the several LOD fixes and fresh Sunshine Autos textures. In order to mark the occasion, the modder has released quite a few screenshots of his new project. While the grass improvements are hard to detect, the new textures are clearly visible. Since we are talking about a very old game, don’t expect anything too flashy. Still, when compared to the original, Vice City Modern is a rather decent improvement.
Installing the mod is quite a straightforward process. First, you need to extract the mod itself into the GTA Vice City directory. You need to replace files when it prompts you to, and then all that’s left to do is launch the game. You can always download the mod right here, and if you do, let us know what you think about it. Some of you might feel that the original 80s feel is washed down somewhat. It’s probably down to personal preference in the end, but I think it looks pretty good.
