GTX 570 Classified announced by EVGA

Hot on the heels of their announcement regarding the release of the GTX 580 Classified, EVGA today revealed their plans for a GTX 570 Classified.

The GTX 570 Classified looks very similar to a reference GTX 570, there are some changes and tweaks though. For a start, EVGA use an 8-pin as well as a 6-pin power connector to supply the card’s power instead of the two 6-pin power connectors featured on the reference design. The card also sports a healthy factory overclock from the reference speed of 732MHz on the core to an impressive 822MHz. The 1280MB of GDDR5 memory runs at a frequency of 3902MHz (effective) and the 480 CUDA cores are also overclocked from 1464MHz to 1644MHz.

The differences aren’t just under the hood either. The GTX 570 Classified features a re-designed IO layout which accommodates two DVI-I ports, a HDMI port and a Display-port connector.

Retailing at $359.99 and backed by EVGA’s world renown lifetime warranty, it looks as if this card will definitely be a potent contender for the enthusiasts looking for something that little bit special.
