This week I have been spending some time with the wonderfully unique airship based online shooter, Gun of Icarus Online, a game currently in Beta and heavy development at Muse Games, an indie studio based in NYC, utalizing the increasingly popular Unity engine.
Some of you may have heard of Gun of Icarus before, since Guns of Icarus is the spiritual successor of the previous title, as opposed to a direct sequel, with a primary focus on cooperative online multiplayer death match and objective scenarios.
While the game is still in Beta, ever receiving updates, even as we speak as the developers prepare the title for yet another beta weekend with even more updates and features to present, but with the time I spent on the game and the time I am still spending when ever the servers are up and running there was still plenty to look at, so come and take a look at the next few pages where I will be taking a look at what this game has to offer, what we can expect in the future and why you should, or shouldn’t be playing it.

Or as the developers put it “as a general rule of thumb, if you can run a recent game like Portal 2, you can run Guns of Icarus Online.”
