Halo 4 is still selling strong for 343i, holding firmly in the UK Top 20 sales charts ever since its release (currently in 17th place) and true to modern Halo tradition the game is set to complete its round of three map pack releases on the 8th of April this year.
The game has already seen two highly popular map packs this year, but the set will soon be complete with the addition of the Castle Map Pack, which will be priced at a very reasonable 800MSP.
The Castle Map Pack is set to add three new multiplayer maps to the game, as well as a special 6 vs 6 playlist that will cater to the three maps specifically, much as 343i have done with all the previous releases. Gamers can expect to be exploring the corners of Daybreak, Outcast, and Perdition, three new maps that will focus more on objective game times, with more vehicle use. Given the last DLC focused on CQC gun fights, it will be nice to get out into bigger environments and add more variety to the games already extensive multiplayer options.
Of course if you purchased the Halo 4 Season Pass, the map pack will be included in that offer, just like the last two DLC offerings were. Were not certain at this time if this is the last piece of DLC that will ever be released for the game but if previous Halo titles are anything to go by, its unlikely that we will see more maps added in the future, and 343i will turn their attention to the next title in the series.
