Halo 4 Xbox 360 Review

The plot in Halo series is both simple and complex at the same time. On the surface of it all you have a bad-ass armor plated space marine and some aliens invading various planets, for many people this much story will be enough to keep them entertained and its pretty easy to enjoy for most gamers or newcomers to the series.
Halo as a series however has been going for quite some time now, with many intertwining stories that revolve around not only the main protagonist Master Chief, but also the planets you visit, the people he works with and even the space ship you use. All have back story either in the main plot of the game or buried in hidden details throughout the game world.

Halo 4 picks up a few years after the events of Halo 3, with Master Chief still asleep on what is left of the UNSC Forward Unto Dawn, Cortana wakes him as they approach the planet of a race called the Forerunner. It’s from here that your typical spaced based battle story begins. Powerful alien race poses a threat to all humanity and only one man and his A.I. counterpart can stop them.
It’s full of Clichés from start to finish but it pulls them off so well it almost doesn’t matter. It’s one of the better stories in the franchise and more than anything, the plot serves the purpose of telling you where and why you need to point your guns.
