Cortana’s implementation in Windows 10 has been one of the new operating system’s most anticipated features, and it’s not hard to understand why, as this particular virtual assistant is quite good at her job. However, leaving Cortana in standby mode on mobile devices and laptops could have an undesirable effect on the device’s battery life, but then how do you go about contacting the Halo-inspired assistant? The solution comes in the form of this handy little Bluetooth Cortana button, which was created by a company called Satechi.
The button will help strengthen your relationship with Cortana and will allow you to ask her all sorts of questions even when you’re not close to your PC. The button can be attached to key chains, steering wheels or dashboards, and it is powered by a CR2016 battery that has a lifespan of up to two years. As far as pricing is concerned, this is not going to be the cheapest single purpose device available on the market, as it will come with a price tag of $23. Obviously, it falls to you to decide if it is worth purchasing or not. The Bluetooth Cortana button is expected to become available this month.
