CES 2016: Since the arrival of the Sonus wireless music system, audio manufacturers including Bose and Harmon Kardon have been trying to offer a legitimate alternative. Harmon Kardon’s Omni range of wireless speakers has just received a substantial update and now includes the Omni 10+, Omni 20+ and Omni 50+. Additionally, the company is producing the OmniBar+ soundbar and Adapt+ accessory which allows you to setup multi-room speaker configurations with your existing hardware. The speakers also support audio files up to 24-bit/192kHz and capable of streaming music from popular services like Google Cast. On another note, the speakers incorporate Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Ethernet and standard audio out connectors.
Pricing starts from $199 for the Omni 10+ all the way up to $999 for the OmniBar+. This is quite an expensive proposition although high end audio solutions usually incur a hefty cost.
