Hauppauge! HD PVR 2 Gaming Edition Plus Review

The PVR 2 features a funky custom shape with plenty of angles that break it up from being just a boring box. There is a plastic strip around the center that offers up some LED light effects when powered and a small Hauppauge! logo on the bottom front left corner.

The top of the device features a large button that can be used to trigger the recording feature of the software.

Around the back we have two LED indicators, USB out, proprietary cable in, optical in (Toslink), HDMI in and HDMI Out, as well as a small jack plug for IR.

The underside is fairly featureless and features some rubber feet and ventilation, the device is passively cooled and silent running.

So it's no wonder I write about tech and test the latest hardware while I enjoy my hobbies!
