HDPLEX Will Start Selling Its 2nd Generation H5 HTPC Case Soon

HDPLEX has just announced that it will soon start selling its second-generation H5 fanless HTPC case, which was designed to fit nicely in any standard A/V rack. This outstanding chassis is able to support passive cooling for processors with a TDP of up to 95W, all thanks to a flagship eight-heatpipe CPU heatsink system. Furthermore, graphics cards can also be cooled passively by an optional eight-heatpipe passive video card cooling system, which is always a big plus if you are planning to build a whisper quiet rig. The chassis supports microATX, ATX and ITX motherboard formats, as well as plenty of different power supply configurations. For example, apart from  HDPLEX’s internal nanoATX power supply combo, the case can also accommodate ATX, SFX and Flex power supplies thanks to an internal AC extension cord and a universal mounting rack. External  ATX modular power sources can also be supported thanks to HDPLEX’s ATX modular bridge input board.

The case was also designed to support a series of DC and AC input jacks, including a GX16-2 Aviation Jack, a 5.5*2.5mm DC Jack and a 7.4*5.0 with PIN DC Jack. When talking about this incredible product, the CEO of HDPLEX,  Larry Liu, has stated the following:

“I set out to create a truly flagship product that looks good when combined with high-end A/V equipment, and is silent and affordable. I accomplished my goals after two years, during which time the design has been sent back to the drawing board countless times. The 2nd Gen H5 fanless HTPC case combines skillful engineering with an eye for design, eight-heatpipe copper based cooling system for silent operation, and a price point competitive with the current market.”

The new H5 HTPC case is set to become available in October 2015, and it will have an MSRP of $288 USD.

Thank you TechPowerUp for providing us with this information.
