Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Now Has Ray Tracing, DLSS & FSR on PC

I still think Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is one of the best gaming experiences I’ve had in recent years. While the gameplay was nothing too surprising, the story and the detail they put into it really captured my imagination. However, while it was already a properly gorgeous game to begin with, Ninja Theory is taking things to the next level with their latest update to the game.
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice
Ninja Theory has just released a substantial update for the PC version of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. The new update overhauls the graphics engine, adding ray tracing, Nvidia DLSS support, and AMD FSR Support. So at least you can offset the performance impact of ray tracing with the awesome upscaling technologies.
Ray Tracing, DLSS & FSR
Ray tracing has been used to improve the in-game reflections, as well as the shadows. Given it’s already a very atmospheric game, these enhancements really push the immersion to the next level. If that’s not enough, the update also adds full controller remapping, colour blindness settings, subtitle customisation as well as a few other little tweaks here and there. To celebrate all of this, Ninja Theory has released a brand new trailer too, which I’ve embedded below.
What Ninja Theory Had to Say
“Relive Senua’s journey and experience her world through new eyes in Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, enhanced for PC. Available now with enriched visuals, DirectX Raytracing, NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR support. We have also used this opportunity to include some key accessibility improvements on Xbox Series X|S and PC, including full controller remapping, colour blindness settings and subtitle customisation. Available now as a free update for existing owners through Steam, GOG and the Microsoft Store. Also available on Game Pass for PC.” – Ninja Theory
