Metro: Exodus

Metro: Exodus will have some really impressive graphics.

As expected from a Triple-A game belonging to the Metro series, the upcoming Metro: Exodus shooter will look incredible. That’s because 4A Games will take full advantage of their 4A engine in order to deliver some exceptional eye candy mixed in with a bit of innovation. A recent feature in the GameInformer magazine has revealed a series of interesting technical details about the new game. Apparently, Metro: Exodus will boast physically-based rendering, and it will include an overhauled lighting system. Colour me intrigued!

Metro Exodus Gets New Trailer—Release Date Autumn 2018

When it comes to cinematics, the title will leverage full facial capture. Moreover, gamers will be able to enjoy full day/night cycles, a dynamic weather system, AI biomes, and atmospheric systems. You will also be able to explore the Russian wilderness as you follow the game’s gripping storyline. It looks like the story will actually span an entire year through all of the four major seasons. Interestingly, the last season will be a punishing nuclear winter.

Graphics-aside, this is definitely one of the most anticipated first-person shooters of 2018. Given that its predecessors set new standards for survival horror video games, Metro: Exodus has a lot to live up to.

You can get your hands on this game in Q4 2018 as long as there are no delays.
