Zeus: World’s First Mini 270W GaN USB-C Charger
Remember I said we need a lot of power? I wasn’t kidding. The desktop-friendly UGREEN is great for a tidy work space. However, we need a whole separate area just for charging, and that’s where the mighty Zeus (by Chargeasap) is needed. This is the real workhorse of our charging requirements. Flat devices, urgent high-speed charging requirements, overnight charging of camera and audio equipment, battery packs and more. This section of our hotel space is often a nightmare of cables and gadgets all fighting for power.
The big stuff, like Laptops, require the most power, but the idea of charging multiple laptops off of a single charger? Surely not! But that’s exactly what we can do, with the Zeus (by Chargeawap) delivering a staggering 270W of grunt, it’s no wonder it flew through its Indiegogo campaign and is currently in full production to ship to their customers.
It’s a Swiss army knife of connectivity too, with all the international plugs you can think of. Just change the header and throw this beast in your luggage, and you’re good to go. It supports a maximum of 270W while charging 4 devices simultaneously, including the newer 140W devices such as the latest Macbooks. It even has a built-in OLED display letting you know how much juice is going to each device.
It crushes the competition for power delivery, connectivity and safety features, and while it’s a little on the pricy side, it’s most certainly cheaper, more practical and more compact that doing all your charging with separate chargers and adaptor.
£103-174 @ Indiegogo.
Of course, with our trip in just a few more weeks, expect to see us explore these devices again when we share the adventures of our trip, and content from the show!
