Hideo Kojima Twitter Posts Sparks Rumours of Death Stranding 2 Announcement!

Hideo Kojima is certainly no stranger to mystery and intrigue. In fact, the man is practically a genius in not only making games but producing incredible amounts of hype leading up to both their launch and eventual release. For nearly a year, however, rumours have been swirling around the internet suggesting that a sequel to Death Stranding was in the works. Hell, even Norman Reedus confirmed that a sequel was in discussions.

Will this actually happen though? Well, following a fresh (and somewhat cryptic) Twitter post from Hideo Kojima, not only does the internet believe that Death Stranding 2 is indeed on the way, but more so, it might be set for an unveiling at the upcoming ‘Game Awards’.

Hideo Kojima Teases Death Stranding 2 Announcement?

The overwhelming opinion is that the Twitter post above is teasing the logo of three new courier companies set to appear in Death Stranding 2. And, of course, “start a new journey” would certainly fit into the ethos of the franchise (since most of Death Stranding was effectively dragging yourself, and a huge cargo load, from A to B).

Given the timing and consistency of posts, however, if a major announcement is going to be made at some point (which this certainly seems to be building up to) we can almost certainly expect it to drop within the next week! – And given how much I loved Death Stranding, I’ll take a sequel very happily Mr Kojima!
