Kojima Productions has just unveiled their next game called “OD”, and while details are thin on the ground, given Kojima’s history of misdirection and confusion with his game reveals, and the games themselves, there’s no way of knowing what we’re really in for with this one.
The new game is created as part of Kojima Productions’ new partnership with Microsoft. Somehow, the new game will leverage the power of the cloud, and while we’ve heard this sort of stuff before, there’s really no way of knowing quite what shape that aspect will take either.
The game uses Unreal Engine, and as you can see from the video below, it uses the fantastic new Metahumans feature to create some really stunning models.
What’s going on here, there’s no doubt some hidden clues in this video, I wouldn’t expect anything less from Kojima. It’s all a bit surreal and weird, but again, pretty much as you would expect.
Check out the video below, let us know what you think in the comments section! I suggest you put some headphones on too, there’s a lot going on in the background noise.
