Our first glance at the card reveals a simple yet somewhat sleek looking card with the iCooler standing proud on top. We can see that HIS have used an aqua coloured PCB which is complimented with by the fan with its similar colour. The 7750 as standard comes in a single slot configuration, however the iCooler pushes this into a dual slot design.
Not to repeat ourselves too much with the output configuration of the 7750, …..
HIS’ iCooler comes in two parts, firstly the heatsink bolts to the card as we normally see, but rather than being bolted on, the fan simply clips onto the top of the heatsink. This would lead us to believe that HIS may have designed this card to run in one of two configurations, either active as the card comes or in a passive mode with the fan removed for a completely silent operation.
On the rear of hte heatsink we can see that its an all aluminium construction with no heatpipes or vapour chambers required.
Taking the cooler away shows us the Cape Verde core at the centre of the card with the four memory ICs around the top and side.
As we can see from GPU-z MSI have kept the card at its stock ratings, however we are aware that there is still a bit of overclocking headroom available that could take the card towards the 900MHz mark or just over on the GPU core.
