The first thing you will notice about the card is that it is very large, in fact is one of the largest cards we’ve tested. Not just in length, but in sheer bulk, the card is extremely large, mainly around the fan. The design is quite unique and features a sticker which resembles that of an ipod control.
The top of the card includes four heatpipes and gives a slight glimpse into the main aspects of the cooling behind this card. A single blower fan is situated at the end of the card and helps push air across the card and to exhaust it out of the end of the card.
We find two six-pin PCI-Express power connectors at the end of the card.
Moving along the card, we find a single CrossFireX finger to enable multi-GPU technology.
Moving lastly to the rear I/O, things are looking pretty stock with a single, dual-link DVI connector, HDMI and two Mini DisplayPort connectors. With this variety of connectors, it’s also possible to to enable AMD Eyefinity multi-monitor set-ups.
If we take a look at GPU-Z, we can see stock performance on both the GPU clock and memory clock speed. Stream processors and ROPS still also remain at stock and a hefty 2GB of memory is also present.
