I really can’t wait until we get off from this 1080p land we’ve been stuck on for too long and shift over to 4K, and it looks like Sony and LG aren’t the only ones with 4K sets to add to our list of dream items to acquire.
Hisense have announced their upcoming line of XT880 TVs that will come in 50-, 58- and 65-inch sporting the glorious 3840×2160 resolution. Hisense will also be baking in the usual 3D goodness with their smart TVs which will be based on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The new TVs will come with Wi-Fi abilities, a remote with voice commands and a removable camera for gesture control or those Skype chats with friends or family.
Hisense haven’t hinted at a launch window for their new XT880 range, but you can be sure we’ll see them in the flesh at CES in January 2013. Hopefully Hisense have the kindness in them to keep the 4K price shock down, as Sony and LG’s offerings are a bit too rich at the moment.
