Hitman Gameplay Footage Leaked

Unofficial gameplay footage from the forthcoming Hitman game has leaked online. The game – entitled simply Hitman, despite not being a remake or reboot, according to developer IO Interactive – is the latest in the popular series about assassin Agent 47.
The leaked video – branded with the legend “UNRELEASABLE SEQUENCE May contain placeholder assets & material requiring legal clearance – shows the titular Hitman tackle a double assassination, giving us a glimpse at Agent 47’s arsenal in the game, including the classic Fiber Wire. The style and gameplay is quite reminiscent of Blood Money, which is surely a good sign:
Travis Barbour, Community Manager for IO Interactive has responded to the leak on Twitter, saying, “The game looks and plays a lot better than most of what you’re seeing out there today. Proof to come, of course.”

After some confusion regarding the game’s release schedule, with rumours circulating that Hitman could be broken up into episodes, IO Interactive has confirmed that will see a single disc release “at some point in 2016” after an initial digital-only release. The final game will feature free DLC updates, plus special “live events”, with time-sensitive missions appearing as temporary contracts to fulfil.
Hitman will see its initial digital-only release for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on 8th December.
