The newest entry in the Hitman franchise, namely HITMAN, is set to be released on March 11 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. This is definitely the most ambitious Hitman title to date, and numerous gamers have very high expectations from it, especially since its developers had four years to work on perfecting it. Now, with the release date just around the corner, publisher Square Enix has revealed the official system requirements for HITMAN, and it looks like you’re going to need a relatively powerful rig in order to be able to run it properly even at lower settings.
On the CPU side, the minimum requirements suggest an Intel Core i5-2500K or an AMD Phenom II X4 940, while the GPU should be at least an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or a Radeon HD 7870. As for the recommended requirements, we’re talking about an Intel Core i7 3770 or an AMD FX-8350 complemented by an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 or a Radeon R9 290. Both the minimum and the recommended specs suggest 8GB of RAM, but that’s hardly a surprise these days. Interestingly enough, it looks like HITMAN will support DirectX 11 exclusively, as there’s no mention about DirectX 12 anywhere. You can have a look at the complete PC requirements for HITMAN below.
