Recently on Steam, Hogwarts legacy player count has reached a new high, following the full PC launch for the wizarding RPG game. Despite the reports of crashing and framerate issues, Hogwarts Legacy managed to climb to second on steams most played games during its first full-day release beating popular games including Dota 2, PUBG, Apex, and GTAV.
The Hogwarts Legacy player count on steam was able to reach a significant peak of 807,112 concurrent on steam on February 11. This peak happened at 12 pm PST / 3 pm EST / 8 pm GMT / 9 pm CET, usually around the time that time zones crossover and the fact that it was a Sunday.
This number shows Hogwarts Legacy easily overtakes popular free-to-play games like Dota 2 (653,083), PUBG (452,934) and Apex Legends (441,884), and Rockstar’s GTA 5 (162,232) but as high as the number was it didn’t even come close to Valves FPS game CSGO that was able to reach an impressive peak of 1,320,219 concurrent players on steam.
This number takes Hogwarts Legacy to the eighth highest concurrent number of all time on steam above other games like Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Among Us, and Goose Goose Duck. It wasn’t enough to take over games like MMORPGs like New World and Lost Ark, or other RPGs like Elden Ring and Cyberpunk.
