Horizon Zero Dawn PC Patch 1.11.2 Patch Notes Revealed

The latest update for Horzion Zero Dawn has just been released on PC. The latest update brings the game up to version 1.11.2, and while it’s not a huge update, it does fix some of the more pressing issues. I’ve really enjoyed the latest adventure game from Guerilla Games, and it’s certainly a pretty looking game too, so I always welcome an update that can improve my experience.

One of the main issues was VRAM management. The new update prevents an issue where switching resolution or upscale mode would cause performance issues that could only be resolved by restarting the game. Thankfully, it seems this has now been fixed.

There were some issues with both DLSS and FSR too. The game would suffer some artefact issues if the camera passed through a surface. Again, this has now been resolved, along with a similar flickering issue that persisted on many AMD graphics cards.

To get the update, simply start your client, such as Steam or Epic, and allow the game to automatically update before you launch. You can check out the full changelog below.
