Once you’ve found the maximum stable memory clock speed, you then need to find out if it works together with the maximum stable GPU core clock speed which most of the time will be a success but other times will be a disaster.

It’s simply a matter of increasing the GPU core clock speed and memory clock speeds to their maximum stable overclocks and running FurMark again to check for stability. Normally where we would run FurMark for around 20 seconds, this time we want to run it for as long as possible. We would normally leave FurMark running for around 30 minutes as any instability issues would generally be flagged up in this time.
