How to Use Thermal Grizzly’s PhaseSheet PTM

Performance

Noctua Thermal Paste Idle

At idle, we see Noctua sitting at around 31c, which is about right for our i7 12700K.

PhaseSheet Idle

The PhaseSheet is sitting at 1c more, but that’s within a margin for error, or basically about the same.

Noctua Thermal Paste Load

At full load, the Noctua paste hit 100c on our CPU, and again, that’s pretty normal, this is a very powerful CPU with a high thermal limit.

PhaseSheet Load

With the PhaseSheet, the peak temperature was just 97c, and a 3c drop is pretty significant as it keeps the CPU away from its thermal limit.

Noctua Tomb Raider

While gaming, the Noctua paste kept the CPU at 65c, a pretty good score.

PhaseSheetTomb Raider

PhaseSheet topped out at 70c, 5c above the Noctua, but otherwise, both still good temperatures that are well within safe limits.

Noctua Spiderman

In Spiderman, we saw 72c on Noctua.

PhaseSheet Spiderman

But just 1c more on the Phasesheet, hitting 73c, and largely the two are very similar.
