Aside from recently announcing their new Zbook line, HP is also launching their latest Elitebook 800 G5 series line. This 5th generation line includes the Elitebook 830, 840 and 850 targeting enterprise users for its powerful security features. Most notably, it even has a metal webcam cover. This ensures nobody is truly spying on you through the webcam.
The line itself, just like the Zbooks are designed to pass MIL-STD-810G testing to ensure durability. Inside, it uses Intel Core vPro processors with up to 14 hours of battery life. It can survive through most of the work day. Unless you don’t sleep or take a break. Moreover, with HP Fast Charge, it can charge up to 50 percent of the battery in just 30 minutes.
The HP Elitebook 830 G5 replaces the previous Elitebook 820 G4 with a 13″ screen in a 12″ notebook profile. Meanwhile, the HP EliteBook 840 G5 is a 14-inch business notebook with 8th generation Intel Core processors. Both the EliteBook 840 and the HP EliteBook 850 G5 are business notebooks that come with AMD Radeon RX540 discrete graphics. This is ideal for anyone who works on graphics-intensive workloads. The screens on the new series is also brighter with 400 nits and are thinner and more lightweight than before.
The HP Elitebook 800 G5 series has a starting MSRP of $1,049 USD and are available now.
