The latest HP EliteOne 800 G3 is an exercise in de-cluttering table top space, utilizing the slimmest design yet seen on an all-in-one PC and paired with some of the thinnest monitor bezels around. The G3 stands for third-generation as the HP EliteOne 800 G3 improves upon in looks and space quite a bit from the last generation EliteOne AIO.
Inside is the latest Intel Kaby Lake processor, available in various configurations from the dual-core 3GHz Intel Celeron G3950 all the way to the 3.6GHz quad-core hyperthreaded Intel Core i7-7700 CPU. Intel 6th generation CPU options are also available starting with i3-6100 up to the i7-6700. The display features 23.8″ diagonal FHD IPS widescreen WLED-backlit anti-glare 10-point capacitive touch screen (1920 x 1080) which can be driven by either the integrated Intel HD graphics on the CPU or with an optional discrete AMD Radeon RX 460 2GB GPU. The monitor mount can be made to work in standard landscape or portrait mode when necessary.
The motherboard inside uses a Q270 chipset and supports two SO-DIM DDR4 slots. Storage availability has room for a single 2.5″ HDD and one 9mm slim optical drive with additional storage via SD card media reader. Users can choose between 500GB up to 1TB 7200RPM platter discs or 500GB up to 1TB of SSHD. For faster storage, users can also choose to have 129GB to 256GB SAT SSD storage option or 256 to 1TB HP Turbo Drive G2 TLC SSD via PCIe.
The HP EliteOne 800 G3 starts at the base configuration of $1,049, which is surprisingly affordable considering the features. All models come bundled with a variety of software titles including: HP BIOSphere with Sure Start, CyberLink Power Media Player, Native Miracast Support, HP EPrint Driver, HP Support Assistant, and Skype for Business Certified.
