Hewlett Packard (HP) is offering buyer of its $99 TouchPad Tablet the opportunity to get 6 free apps which vary in price for $0.99 to $14.99. The news comes after HP “dumped” all their old stock when they withdrew from the Tablet market and reduced prices by nearly 75% in order to clear stock. Some people have been unhappy about HP discontinuing so soon and as a result the free apps are a bit of an attempt to sweeten up the new owners who are worried a discontinued product will mean less customer support. Here is a list of the free apps:
Note if you want to get these free apps you must be an existing HP TouchPad owner with a current HP profile or account. To order the apps you must do so in the HP App Catalogue area of your account, the offer lasts until the end of August (expires August 31 at 11:59 p.m.).
