HP P900 1TB Portable SSD Review

A Closer Look
The drive looks great, with a gorgeous green finish to the aluminium exterior. However, it’s also available in black, grey, silver, and pink, so you should be able to find one that suits your taste.
The SSD features an aluminium exterior cover that also acts as a large heatsink to ensure the drive can maintain its performance, but it also features a Power Management Unit (PMU) which manages power and heat to ensure the drives lifespan isn’t impacted.
On one side, you’ll find a Type-C port, it’s plug-and-play on just about every device compatible with USB storage, and no external power adaptor is required.
The branding is kept nice and simple, with a HP logo on one side, and the product name on the other.
I love how small and light it is too, it fits in your hand easily enough, and you can simply chuck it in your pocket, in your bag, car, desk, or wherever, as it’s a sealed unit, and feels nice and durable despite its low weight.
It’s pretty thin too, so again, it’s unlikely to become a burden in any scenario.
So, let’s hook it up and get it tested!
