HP, who has finally confirmed staying in the PC business, have recently announced two new products relating to media visualization; one being their Wireless TV Connect, and the second being the new 2311gt 3D monitor.
The Wireless TV connect allows you to connect a device to the PC adapter, which will transmit the visual data wirelessly to the TV adapter. According to HP you’ll be able to stream 1080p content without any lip sync issues, and that it’s be capable of handling Blu-ray and 3D, all of which without any delay or hassles.
Along the respective adapters, you’ll find a USB cable, a HDMI cable, the power adapter and the warranty card. HP is also claiming that their new product is able to be setup in 5 minutes.
While on the subject of media and 3D, HP has also introduced the 2311gt 3D monitor, a 23” featuring the Film Patterned Retarder (FPR) technology which will make viewing 3D content as well as your own transformed 2D content less stressing on the eyes. Moreover, FPR is flicker free, presents improvements in the brightness, giving a clearer image, and displays the 3D content with the lighter passive 3D glasses.
On the 2311gt, you’ll be able to enjoy all your HD content through the resolution of 1920×1080, with 5ms response time and a contrast ratio of 1000:1. This time, a copy of Cyberlink PowerDVD Premium is shipped alongside the monitor.
While some of you are eager to know the price, it is still unknown, so is the release date.
