HTC Aims for Budget Smartphone Market Heading Into 2015

Struggling Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC is reportedly aiming for the budget smartphone market next year, after failing to offer decent budget offerings in 2014. The company has lost out to Motorola and Xiaomi in that respect, with the Moto G and Redmi 1S, respectively.
The company will reportedly be aiming at the budget smartphone market in 2015, with multiple budget handsets on offer, according to President of HTC North Asia Jack Tong. HTC is set to focus on the budget smartphone market starting early next year, as well as pushing devices online. We will see how HTC goes in 2015, to see if this helps the company pull out of its current lull.
