HTC quietly announced their new flagship model “J Butterfly” to be available worldwide. The phone measures in at 143 x 75 x 9.08mm in dimensions and weighs about 140 grams. The phone uses the Android Jelly Bean OS and comes with a 5″ 1080p Super LCD 3 display with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 with 1.5 Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon Pro Processor, 8 Megapixel camera on the rear and 2.1 on the front. It also has 2GB of memory, 16GB of internal storage, a MicroSD slot and HTC’s “ImageSense” chips that ensures no shutter lag for the front and rear facing cameras.
HTC announces this new flagship model sporting a 1080p display which is great news for HTC, especially after news that the companies future may not be safe.
The phone was launched in Japan some months ago, and rumoured to be called the “HTC Deluxe”. One point to note, considering the specs and the 1080p panel, one would expect a low battery power on a phone powered by a 2020mAh battery.
