If there’s one phone that really deserves the new Android 5.0 Lollipop update, it’s the HTC One M8 smartphone, am I right? The One M8 and One M7 have been getting their new Lollipop updates, with the Senior VP of HTC, Mo Versi, posting on Twitter that the over-the-air (OTA) updates for the One M8 GPE are being pushed out.
GPE if you didn’t know, is the Google Play Edition version of the HTC handsets. If you’re walking around with one of the GPE versions of the HTC One M8 or One M7, you might be treated to an early Christmas present.

At least HTC One owners are getting treated to Lollipop which is nice. My Galaxy S4 received the Kit Kat update and I suppose that’ll be it. I’ll be very surprised if it ever gets Lollipop.
