We do love a good leak, especially when it relates to big improvements to the latest game from CD Projekt Red, Cyberpunk 2077. The game had a rocky launch but has seen some steady improvements since. Albeit, for some, that’s still not enough. However, a new Cyberpunk 2077 marketing campaign video has been leaked, telling us that the game is set to receive its biggest update to date, as well as hinting at “more things to come”.

Huge Cyberpunk Update Incoming

The ad first hit Instagram and YouTube, alas, CDPR has yet to release any kind of official statement, but thus far, it seems this is all legit anyway, so I’m sure we’ll see this in a more official capacity very shortly. You can see the embedded advert right at the bottom of this page.

The video pretty much says it all, really, but what could they mean by “more things to come”? Well, they’re likely hinting at further updates to the game. However, I suspect it’s even more likely that it’s in relation to the free DLC that has yet to be released. There’s also still the paid expansion to the game, but obviously, they’re still fixing the core game, so that was really pushed back quite a bit.

Tell Me More!

Interestingly, just last month, CDPR claimed that Cyberpunk 2077 performance had reached “a satisfying level”, and we thought that meant that big updates were now behind us. The last patch was released on June 17th, but with any luck, this next update won’t be too far away. Heck, at this rate, I may redownload the game for some Night City action.
