Humble Bundle Giving Away Sanctum 2 for the Next 48 Hours

Humble Bundle is giving away another game yet again. That makes it the third time within the last two weeks, following Killer is Dead and Brutal Legend. This time the free game is Sanctum 2 by Coffee Stain Studios. This game is an indie first-person shooter game available for Windows, Mac and Linux. Do not let the normally low price fool you, it is actually a highly rated game. In fact it has over 6,200 Very Positive reviews on Steam, 51 of which are recent. It came out back in 2013, but it is still plenty of fun. Because of the stylized artwork, it actually holds up well graphically.

Sanctum 2 Features

What makes Sanctum 2 unique in comparison to other first-person shooter games is that it is a tower defense/FPS hybrid. Users pick from four unique character classes and embark on a mission to protect oxygen-producing cores from hordes of deadly aliens.

  • Tower Defense – Design complex mazes and build powerful towers to stop the enemies from destroying the Cores.
  • First-Person Shooter – Don’t just sit back and watch, jump into the action yourself!
  • Four playable character classes – Each with their own unique strengths, weaknesses and weapons.
  • Vast Customization System – Pick perks or make the game crazy hard by adding Feats of Strength.
  • In-game Visual Novel – Unlock a comic-book page for every map you beat to discover the secrets of LOEK III.
  • Progression System – Increase your rank and unlock new weapons, towers and perks.
  • 4-Player Co-op – Progress through the storyline yourself or team up with other players whenever you want.
