We visited ID-Cooling at Computex in June to see what new products they have to show. Last year, they introduced liquid-cooling equipment built into the chassis frame. This year, the company showed several AIO cooling solutions for the CPU and video card. One of them is the Hunter Duet II which actually cools both. The Hunter Duet II has a new updated video card shroud similar to the ICEKIMO and has a different radiator, and CPU block as well.
The Hunter Duet II CPU block is directly from an ID-Cooling ICEKIMO model. It has a high lift pump with pure copper microchannel base. There are two flexible tubes made of industrial rubber that are directly attached on its face. The CPU cooler block aslo comes with the same mounting options as the Icekimo series, supporting both Intel and AMD processors.
The CPU cooler on the Hunter Duet II is taken directly from the ID-Cooling ICEKIMO 240VGA. It measures 105 x 270mm and has a single fan to actively cool the VRM. The actual block uses a pure copper contact base as well like the ICEKIMO CPU block. It is compatible with both AMD and NVIDIA graphics cards with a 58.4mm or 53.3mm mounting hole spacing.
There is no official release date yet and the product is not yet listed on ID-Cooling.com. The original 1st generation Hunter Duet cooling solution costs $130 so it will likely be the same.
