HyperX has revealed that their latest Alloy Origins 60 mechanical gaming keyboard is now shipping in EMEA, having previously launched in the US market only. As the name might suggest the Alloy Origins 60 is a 60% size keyboard. While not everyone will love something this compact, it’s a fantastic desktop space saver, makes it ultra-portable, and well… it just looks cool!
The Alloy Origins 60 features HyperX’s own Red linear mechanical switches and having tested them on previous models, I know they’re pretty fantastic. Their switches are rated with an 80 million lifetime click rating per switch, which is higher than that of a Cherry switch; that that I’ve ever heard of one wearing out from either brand. Furthermore, they also have a slightly shorter actuation, making them more like MX Silver competitors. The keyboard includes RGB exposed backlit keys for brighter illumination with radiant lighting effects and double shot PBT keycaps with secondary functions for long-term use and durability.
Fast and light switches, a compact 60% design, and a stunning aluminium body, HyperX NGENUITY software, macro keys, gaming modes, onboard memory and much more make this every bit a premium keyboard experience as we’ve come to expect from their full-size models.
“HyperX is committed to making reliable keyboards with features and design specifications required by gamers,” said Bianca Walter, Business Manager, HyperX EMEA. “Our new Alloy Origins 60 mechanical gaming keyboard will meet the needs of gamers looking for an even more compact, 60 percent form factor keyboard for their gaming and work from home setups.”
The HyperX Alloy Origins 60 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with HyperX Red switches is available in US layout for €119.99/£109.99 MSRP through the EMEA HyperX shop. Available in US/NO layout through EMEA’s network of retailers and etailers from March 22nd. Due to the current COVID-19 situation, HyperX may experience some product and shipping delays. HyperX is taking every possible measure to work with partners to minimize the impact on its customers and ensure product availability and timely delivery.
