HyperX Cloud Revolver Pro Gaming Headset Review

Final Thoughts

Price

At the time of writing, we do not know the price for the HyperX Revolver Gaming Headset, but will update this section as soon as we have more information. However, we do expect it to be competitive compared to the Cloud II.

Overview

Without a doubt, this is one of the most comfortable headsets we’ve ever tested. And I’m sure that anyone who has tested out the HyperX Cloud or Cloud II will agree that they’re very well made, and feel great to wear, but the Revolver certainly has an edge on both when it comes to providing a comfortable fit. The super soft leather padding on the drivers rests nicely around your ears, minimising strain after long gaming sessions while the soft thick padding on the headband doesn’t leave you with a sore spot after extended use and balanced the weight of the headset beautifully.

The overall design is great, managing to blend the black and red gaming theme to suit those who like something a little more aggressive looking, but still managing to look smart and professional at the same time, thanks to the leather and matte finish plastics, as well as the steel construction of the headband. This is improved further by the black braided cable and aesthetically pleasing microphone design.

Of course, a comfortable fit, great looks and robust build quality are all very welcome additions, but it’s the performance that we care about the most. Fortunately for HyperX, their latest headset can keep up with the best of the best in this price range. It delivers a powerful, balanced and clear sound that really brings out the details in your favourite movies, games and music. They’ll make a welcome addition to your gaming setup, be that for consoles, mobile, at your PC or anywhere else you need them!

Pros

  • Durable build quality
  • Extremely comfortable fit
  • Powerful drivers
  • Auto-adjusting headband
  • In-line controller
  • Multi-format support

Cons

  • None

“The HyperX Revolver is one of the best multi-format headsets on the market right now. The design, build quality and performance are all fantastic and they’re perfect for those who love to work and play on multiple systems.”
