HyperX FURY 16GB 3200 MHz DDR4 RGB Memory Review

A Closer Look

The modules look great, even with the RGB off, and they stick with a stylish two-tone look that should blend into just about colour scheme easily enough. Of course, it’ll also provide a neutral contrast for the vibrant RGB colours on the spine of the memory.

The HyperX logo looks fantastic too, slightly raised up and with a bunch of angled grooves cut into it to give it a bit of texture.

Further down, a small FURY logo, but only printed in white this time. I would have liked this in the raised metal like the HyperX logo, but it still looks great. What we do get are a wild range of lumps and bumps in the heatsink. On one hand, they look cool, but they do every so slightly increase the overall surface area too.

Aside from the lumps and bumps, there’s also a matching black PCB.

The lightbars cover most of the top, with just a few folded over metal tabs. They look like style choices, but I think they’re mostly just there to stop the lightbar falling out.

Much like the metalwork, there’s a bunch of aggressive notches and bumps cut into the lightbar.

A simple HyperX logo on the top, stamped in black so that it shows clearly over any colour choices.

Much like anything else on the market today, it’s rammed full of bright and vivid LED lights, so regardless of your next builds look, this memory is going to look pretty awesome!
