Straight away, the HyperX Predator is off to a strong start, scoring 1615 at stock. Not the highest score, but it’s not the highest clocked memory either. However, overclocking boosted that score to 1623 while hitting a very nice overclock of 3866MHz.
AIDA performance was good, with pretty competitive read, write and copy performance at stock. However, it’s clear this memory loves to be overclocked, with read speeds increasing by almost 5000 Mbps, write by around 8000 Mbps, and copy by around 4000 Mbps.
HyperX claimed it has low latency, and they weren’t wrong, clocking in at a very tight 49.9ms. Latency shot up to 54.2 once overclocked, by perhaps this could be improved by tweaking the timing further. However, in the real world, the overall performance was still greatly improved.
Not the fastest in WPrime at stock, clocking in a lazy 3.593, which is surprising given the more competitive performance thus far. However, things become more inline with the competition once overclocked.
Again, the performance here is very close to the competition, nothing remarkable, but still very good overall.
