HyperX, the gaming peripherals team at HP, has today announced the release of the new Cloud Stinger 2 gaming headset officially licensed for both the Xbox and PlayStation with designs reflecting their respective colourways.
The new Cloud Stinger 2 is built upon the foundation of the original Cloud Stinger gaming headset featuring large 50mm drivers for clear audio as well as rotating earcups for a comfortable fit with easy-access audio controls. The earcups utilise comfortable soft memory foam with a premium leatherette with the entire lightweight 300g design of the headset sitting comfortably on your head. The headset comes in white and features either Green or Blue accents for the Xbox and PlayStation respectively of which they connect through a 3.5mm jack.
“We’re thrilled to expand our console headset lineup with Cloud Stinger 2 for PlayStation and CloudX Stinger 2 for Xbox,” said Andrew Ewing, Director of Console/Cloud Gaming, HyperX. “Lightweight with exceptional features and extraordinary comfort, the new console headsets stay true to the legacy of Cloud Stinger predecessors and deliver immersive in-game experiences, all at affordable price points.”
