HYTE’s Y70 touch has been a very popular case offering a itself as a larger variant of the Y60 but with a hefty pricetag due to its inclusion of a touch screen. HYTE has realised that whilst the Y70 touch is very popular, there are a solid portion of people who aren’t willing to fork out the extra for the included screen so they have now released a standard Y70 for $140 less.
The Y70 comes along to provide the panoramic design we’ve already seen with the Y60 but in a larger scale with dimensions of 470 x 320 x 470mm. It comes in four colour options, snow white, white/black, black and red/black providing vibrant aesthetics to your build, plus the included PCIe 4.0 riser cable comes in a matching colour.
This larger case is capable of supporting larger hardware configurations compared to the Y60 which includes up to a 360mm radiator on the side and top brackets, as well as room for up to a 180mm CPU cooler. The primary hardware shouldn’t be a concern with up to 422mm of GPU clearance as well as support for up to EATX motherboards
“The depth of consideration we have poured into the HYTE Y70 is unparalleled,” said Rob Teller, Product Director of HYTE. “Every dimension has been re-imagined and upgraded from the Y60, giving way to extraordinary aesthetics, thermals, and building experience.”
The Y70 is currently available for purchase in the United States and Canada from HYTE.com for a starting MSRP of $219.99 USD and available for pre-orders globally with select local retailers at the following MSRPs: €229,99, £219.99.
