HYTE THICC Q60 AIO CPU Cooler Review

A Closer Look
The biggest selling point of this cooler is hard to nail down, as it seems there’s no compromise in its design. However, we simply cannot ignore the display. This 5″ IPS panel features an impressive 720 x1280 resolution, a 60 Hz refresh rate, and a very impressive 300 nits of brightness!
Amazingly, it’s mounted on this C-shaped arm, with completely hidden cables inside the arm, but this also allows you to move the panel and adjust its angle to suit your build.
The amount of adjustment is actually pretty significant too, which I was surprised by.
You may have noticed there are no cables from the display, or from the CPU block. They’re all fed through the tubing, which is why they look so chunky, as of course, there’s liquid hoses going through them too.
The tubing does look great those, with that premium glossy sleeving on it.
The radiator is THICK, or THICC according to HYTE. It’s pretty rare to see an AIO use a thicker radiator, as many use OEM slim radiators. However, as you can see, this one is thicker, it features a reservoir block with a fill port at the top, and features two pre-installed HYTE 120mm fans, which come with a gorgeous black and white monochrome design.
I love the attention to detail, such as the use of anti-vibration rubber washers on all of the screws.
Hidden on the back side of the radiator, you’ll find a deep recess with dual USB Type-C connectors, and the included cable is chunky to fill the hole here, leaving you with a clean and uniform finish.
The actual pump is built into the radiator too, meaning they can free up more space on the CPU mount for bigger fins, and that hidden cable design.
The cold plate is huge, with a uniform copper finish, and they’ve even had some fun with the pre-applied thermal paste.
Overall, this is already one of the best looking AIO coolers I’ve ever seen, and I’m eager to plug it in, so let’s go do that!
