We’re coming to the end of day one here at i45, with competitive gaming leaving many people sleepless in the bring your own PC hall, with nearly 2000 gamers either just joining in the fun, competing or here as members of pro gaming teams, such as Team Dignitas and the eTeknix sponsored The Infused.
There is a lot on offer here for gamers this weekend, with everything from Minecraft to Battlefield 3 for people to sink there teeth into, not to mention the exhibition hall where where you can see everyone from eTeknix, Antec, Kustom PC, Team Dignitas and many more showing all the latest hardware and just generally having some fun.
On the eTeknix booth today we have our two gaming rigs. First up we have a Antec Eleven Hundred chassis, kitted out with the stunning Gigabyte G! Sniper M3, 16GB Kingston HyperX DDR3 2133MHz ram, 240GB Kingston Hyper X SSD, Antec KUHLER H20 920 cooler, Intel Core i7 3770k Ivy Bridge and the amazing Palit GeForce GTX 680 2GB, with the CPU clocking in at 4.6Ghz and the GPU running somewhere above 1200Mhz the system is definitely no slouch when it comes to performance.
Our 2nd rig is just as fantastic, with an Antec P280 chassis, fitted out with a Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H motherboard, Intel Core i5 3570k Ivy Bridge CPU, 16GB Kingston HyperX DDR3 2133Mhz ram, 240GB Kingston HyperX SSD, Gigabyte Radeon HD 7970 Antec KUHLER H20 620 cpu cooler and the extremely powerful Antec High Current Pro 1200w PSU.
