i9 14900KS Benchmarks Leaked With 6.20 GHz Speed & 410W Power Draw

Intel’s rumoured i9-14900KS has been spotted within the OCCT Benchmark Database effectively confirming the existence of this chip and its performance can be about what you expect, high clock speeds with enormous power draw.

i9-14900KS Leak

This benchmark was discovered by BenchLeaks on Twitter (Via TomsHardware) and shows off the i9-14900KS achieving a score of 2383.50 in the AVX category. The chip features the same setup as the non KS variant with 8 Performance cores and 16 E cores, but it will be capable of 6.2 GHz in its single-core and dual-core turbo speeds and 5.9 GHz for its 3-8 core turbo as seen in this benchmark result.

It’s also observed that this chip reached almost 410W in power draw which is quite a lot for a consumer CPU and will take a lot of cooling power to keep under control. Of course though this is a pre-production chip and once it hits the shelves chances are it will have a more controlled maximum power output.

Intel have released KS chips for both the 12th and 13th gen so a KS for the 14th gen is not too far fetched though it’s always possible Intel won’t see much merit in releasing this chip, especially with such high power draw that will demand some strong cooling.
