IBASE Technology Unveils The ASB200-909 IoT SBC

IBASE Technology, a market leader in embedded computing and IoT solutions has announced a brand new fanless system based on the IBASE IB909 3.5-inch SBC. This new product dubbed the ASB200-909 features a 5th Generation Core Intel Core i75650U or i5-5350U processor with 4GB DDR3L. On another note, the unit is bundled with a 320GB SATA HDD and has an operating temperature of 0-45C, although this can be improved to -10-60C when using an SSD. The system is designed for automotive and factory automation applications and uses hardly any power. The IBASE ASB200-909 supports an optional 60W power adapter.

There’s also four serial ports, two USB 2.0, one DVI-D, two Gigabit Ethernet connectors, a CFAST socket, HDD LED and button. Instead of using a dedicated fan, cooling stems from the aluminium enclosure which acts as a heatsink. The device uses IBASE’s iSMART technology with power saving features such as scheduling and power resume. The company even incorporated a full-size mini PCI-E slot, VESA mount bracket and 12V-24V DC input terminal.
