In the past, we have always found ID-Cooling products easy to install and (thankfully) the Auraflow X 360 is no exception. The parts you are provided with are all sseparatelypackaged (depending on your chipset type) and on the whole, despite a 360 AIO cooler often being intimidating, even beginners shouldn’t be made too nervous by this.
The manual itself is useful and has differing instructions based on your processor type. The information provided is nice and clear, albeit, a little more detail (particularly in providing larger diagrams) wouldn’t have hurt.
From out of the box and onto the system, this cooler took me around 20-minutes to install. Based on the usual time a 360 (triple-fan) AIO system requires, this was pretty good. It was, however, almost entirely thanks to ID-Cooling making the process as simple as possible. Factors such as the fan screw mounts only having minimal screwing threads (meaning fewer screwdrivers turns) and the fact that the pump block mounting system simple sits over, rotates and attaches really shaved a lot of time off the build.
If anything, I feel that I spent most of the time ensuring I had all the RGB connections correctly hooked-up. Particularly when we applied the manual adaptor. In a full system design, some talent in cable management will be required for this cooler. To sum it up as a whole though, it’s uncomplicated and it works. What more could you ask for?
